Level Money: Spend Confidently and Achieve Balance App Reviews

This app used to be amazing and helped me get back on track with my finances, but the new update has broken this app. Its now duplicating transactions making it impossible for me to really know whats going on with my money and where I stand financially.

The latest update killed what was simple and clear about the app. Where are the transactions? The option for passcode and TouchID are gone. Way too much noise in each screen. Very disappointed

I already emailed the support team but to add on here so hopefully they listen... The new update is horrible. The app continues to crash or glitch or take forever to load/reload. Theyve changed all of the internal budgeting features it seems as well. It used to be so simply with the plan and bubbles showing how much for each day, week and month. Now its a hard to navigate, confusing, clunky app. Thinking about deleting my account with the app and then the app itself.

App worked well for two days then stopped updating. Spent 3 hours setting up. Waste of time! The new update took a great app into the worst app. Looking for recommendations for a new app budget tracker.

Wow the new update is so bad. Its so difficult to understand now. I cant see rollover either. All of my purchases are appearing twice...or are they? I cant exactly tell because its so hard to understand. And to top it all off, the app froze and closed without me even doing anything. I will be looking for an alternative app. Hopefully one with customer support that actually exists.

This app is completely awful now. Before it worked find, but now it crashes constantly and the taps dont register. You have to constantly tap the same thing over and over again for any activity to register. Also, I hate that you can no longer see things that you dont count. Just because I dont want to count something to my is get doesnt mean I dont want to keep an eye on it. Im going to have to find another app, this one is useless now.

This WAS a very helpful application...then the update happened. I no longer recommend this app. Its clunky & glitchy, the update failed to improve anything...so disappointing. Maybe we can get the option of a "classic level money" version. If stick around for that.

Used to be an ok app despite some bugs. But it was useful and bugs were small. Now its barely useful and bugs are huge. App crashes often. Transactions doubled. Etc.

This was the best finance available, but now it doesnt have any use. Its lost all of its key features that set it apart. It now relies on you to set a budget, instead of helping you save.

I have been using this app for about 2 years and after its most recent update Im searching for an alternative. They had many problems before with glitchy syncing and reconciling. The customer service is practically nonexistent. You can send them an email and never receive a confirmation that the email was received or that the particular issue was being addressed. Even with all the problems with the first version of the app I would have still recommended it because I still felt there were no alternatives to it that could do the job better. In fact, I did recommend it on a few occasions but after this update the only recommendation is make about the app is to look elsewhere because this app has become utter garbage and is in truth useless now. Unless the convert back to the older version level has lost my usage and support. I have never written a review like this, but this company needs to become aware of how they have turned a semi-decent app into complete and utter excrement! Ive begun using PocketGuard. Its not nearly as good as Level once was, but it beats Level hands down now after this last update.

We appreciate all that Level does but this update did no one any good! On top of that, I still have bugs that are counting transactions twice. Needless to say, I would focus on getting the last version bug-free and stable before changing the whole format.

App is good. A bit complicated on some fields but Im sure its just a learning curve.

I have to agree with everyone else. I loved this app before the update. I recommended it and opened it daily. Now its confusing and dropped some key elements. Please fix it!

This was my favorite budget app until the most recent update. Now its practically unusable - its glitchy, I keep having to restart it because it freezes, the layout is hard to read, its no longer intuitive and simple to use, etc. Total mess. It used to be a beautiful, useful app. I am downloading a different budget app now but hope Level Money will make some changes and maybe I can use it again in the future.

Looked great, but now there are constant server errors that make changes unsavable. Unfortunate, I thought it was a great design. (Updated) This has to be the most disappointed I have bee from an app update. This app actually helped me balance my budget, and now it is unusable.

....But now its gone. Developers, scrap v3 go back to v2 and rework. All the simplicity and functionality is gone.

I switched to Mint. I used to like Level, however the new update got rid of everything that I liked about the app. There is no longer a "Plan" tab where I can see my monthly income and adjust my spendable and savings easily. The pie charts were great before the new update. The older version was definitely more user friendly, allowing you to easily change the type of transaction ("bill" to "dont count" and vice versa) with just a swipe. I could easily see my spending for the month with my "predicted" spending for the rest of the month and last months spending with the older version. The new version is more confusing and does not give me the information I want to easily see. It doesnt allow me to easily adjust my spending and my budget.

New features make this app terrible. Previous version way cooler and helpful. I also experience crashes more often.

This app was amazing before 3.0. I felt like I was able to edit my my expenses and income with more ease in the previous version. Now I have no idea what I am looking and do not feel my spendable was as accurate as I needed it. Really want this app to be great.

I like the new design aesthetic. But why, in the name of god, did you guys change the functionality??? It was great before! Where is Plan????!!!!?
